Who I Am
I’m Mandi, a nutrition coach with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Nutrition from Fort Lewis College. I’m deeply passionate about the mind–body connection and the role food plays in healing both mental and physical health. My approach is rooted in the belief that food is medicine—not in a rigid or restrictive sense, but as a powerful, supportive tool for overall well-being.
I work with clients to explore how nutrition impacts mood, energy, and physical health, using compassionate, evidence-based strategies that honor the whole person. My goal is to help you build a nourishing relationship with food that supports healing, balance, and long-term health.

Meet the Mind behind it all: Mandi!
I also prioritize international travel as a way to deepen my understanding of food beyond nutrition science. Experiencing how different cultures eat, heal, and gather around food has shaped my perspective on nourishment as both physical and emotional care. Across cultures, food is deeply connected to tradition, community, and healing—and seeing how other countries honor food as medicine reinforces my belief that eating well is not about rules, but about connection, balance, and respect for the body. These experiences continue to inspire the way I support clients in creating meaningful, sustainable relationships with food.
From an educational standpoint, learning how different cultures approach food has strengthened my commitment to a holistic, flexible model of nutrition coaching. Many traditional food practices emphasize variety, seasonal eating, balance, and enjoyment—principles strongly supported by nutritional and psychological research. I bring these insights into my work by helping clients move away from rigid food rules and toward practical, culturally informed strategies that support digestion, mental health, and long-term sustainability. By integrating global perspectives with evidence-based nutrition science, I guide clients in creating personalized approaches to eating that are both nourishing and realistic.
